About account deletion
Rightgive respects your privacy and gives users the option to request deletion of their account and personal data. This page explains how you can delete your Rightgive account and what happens after your request is submitted.
How to delete your account from the app
You can request deletion of your account directly from the Rightgive app by following these steps:
- Open the Rightgive app.
- Log in to your account.
- Go to your profile or account settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm that you want to delete your account.
After confirming your request, your account deletion request will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.
If you cannot access the app
If you are unable to access your account or cannot find the delete account option, you can contact us and request account deletion manually.
Please email us from the same email address used for your Rightgive account and include the subject: Account Deletion Request.

What data may be deleted
When your account deletion request is processed, we will delete or anonymise personal data associated with your Rightgive account, where possible. This may include:
- Your account profile information
- Your login information
- Your contact details
- App-related personal data connected to your account
Information we may need to keep
Some information may need to be retained where required by law, regulation, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, donation processing, dispute resolution, or legitimate charity administration purposes.
For example, donation and transaction records may need to be retained for legal, financial, auditing, or charity reporting reasons.
Processing time
We aim to process account deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible. In some cases, we may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
Facebook Login users
If you created or accessed your Rightgive account using Facebook Login, you can also remove Rightgive from your Facebook account settings.
Removing the app from Facebook does not always delete your Rightgive account automatically. To fully request deletion of your Rightgive account and personal data, please follow the instructions on this page.
